- good location in downtown, Republica district is quieter then Metro Sé area - some prostitutes (half men half women!) around in the night but it's safe anyway - Subway Republica is just 4 minutes by walk - room is spacious and clean, bed is ok - breakfast is decent - staff is ok (but doesn't speak english very much)
- one day, no water in my room for 1 hour in the evening but it was fixed quite quickly

Cleanliness - The hotel was pretty neat and the cleaners came daily. Location - Near Republica metro station and in an area with nightlife, it never felt unsafe. Staff - Even though English wasn't their first language, they were always helpful and friendly.
Nothing, all excellent.

Breakfast was ample and good.
Room was very sparse, electrical connections looked very precarious, there was no hot water in the bathroom basin, and the shower was poor and never got hot.

We had reduced our search for hotels down to two. One sounded like a good hotel in a dodgy area and this one sounded like a less good hotel but in a less dodgy area. We went with this as we knew sp could be unsafe after dark. The location was brilliant. 5mins walk from Republica metro, and a road known by taxi drivers. A couple of people sleeping rough but nothing compared to other areas and we saw no trouble around the hotel.
The two young staff members have good english but if they're not working the other guys english is limited. Our bed wasn't very comfy and room was dated. As we left we saw into a back facing room that looked better. I would request a backward facing one. (maybe use google translate to request in portugese tho) As an additional tip - invest in a good street map before getting to SP!!! Much needed.

Good location, airport busstop nearby as well as subway station (Republica). The staff (first of all the gent at reception) is very helpfull and friendly, there is nothing to claim about. Breakfast offers fesh fruites, juice, cereales, different types of bread, even eggs at your choice, ham and cheese and so on - something for every taste. The use of internet is a bit pricy, but ok.
Sometimes they had problems with the water, but I was immediately moved to another room at the same floor. There is just one elevator in function, and the standard of the rooms is even soso. But, hey, this is a budget-hotel in the center of Sao Paulo, you cannot expect the standard of 5*****.

The hotel is located near Republica metro station, making it convenient for exploring the city. Additionally, it is in an area with a vibrant nightlife, so guests never feel unsafe wandering around at night. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist and engage with guests. The rooms are basic but clean, with daily cleaning service provided. Furthermore, there is WiFi available throughout the hotel and various facilities for guests to enjoy.
There were some complaints about the hot water not being heated enough.

Friendly staff, and close to Placa Republica / Centro area.
Old linen and uncomfortable beds. Rooms facing the street are very noisy. Wireless internet was very intermittent and frustrating to use. Occasional bad smells come wafting up from the drains...

Friendly owner and friendly staff wi-fi was working quite well for brazilian standards and was included on the price decent breakfast
Not very clean and very noisy hotel since street noise as well as construction works all over the block are heard from the morning till night.
